| Wordpress, a blogging and content management platform has launched it's latest version 3.3 aka "Sonny" (in honor of the great jazz saxophonist Sonny Stitt). This latest version has an improved user interface with a new drag-and-drop image uploader, iPad optimization, tumblr importer, a new toolbar, context sensitive help, hover hints on navigation help.
"WordPress has had over 65 million downloads since version 3.0 was released, and in this third major iteration we've added significant polish around the new user experience, navigation, uploading, and imports," creator Matt Mullenweg wrote on WordPress.org.
Wordpress also has the options for having customized themes which can be used to make the blog or the website look beautiful and asthetic.
